Matthew Seccombe

Part I Architectural Assistant

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Matthew studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and joined Delvendahl Martin Architects after graduating in 2019. In his final year, he has developed an interest in the role social housing design can play in reconnecting fragmented urban environments and communities.

Matthew considers art as an integral part of the architectural design process and actively engages in commissions, urban sketching and impressionist painting. Since joining Delvendahl Martin, Matthew has aided in the design of an office refurbishment and extension project in West London and a Sculpture Park for the 2022 World Cup in Doha.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing football, running and sketching.
