Part I Architectural Assistant

Raised in the United Arab Emirates and now based in London, Beyyinah joined Delvendahl Martin after graduating from the University of Cambridge. In her final year, she based her project, an adult educational facility for women, in Lahore. She considered architecture through a gendered lens with an interest in how to make public spaces accessible for all users.

Her dissertation, inspired by Georges Perec's “Species of Spaces and Other Pieces”, similarly placed an emphasis on linking sociocultural context to the inhabitation of domestic spaces, studying the daily practices behind user-driven design.

In her day-to-day, Beyyinah makes time for reading, crocheting and running.
